Ruling Elder Robert W. Weldon An Elder in the fullest sense, octogenarian Bob Weldon has served as an ordained Ruling Elder for more than thirty years, five of those years in PVPCA.  “I consider it a high privilege and honor to serve the people of this wonderful church,” he says.  Born and bred in Minnesota, Bob served the Army Air Corps in World War II on a B-24 crew.  He settled in Cleveland, where he met and married Betty Stinchcombe, daughter of the City Engineer who established the MetroParks system.  Bob and Betty raised daughter Laura (Mrs. Rick Strauss), who teaches second-grade in Lakewood.  Now a widower, Bob devotes his attention to the PVPCA flock.
